Kymi Sinfonietta is an energetic orchestra of 30 players from the county of Kymenlaakso. The orchestra gives concerts regularly in two cities, in Kotka and in Kouvola. The artistic leader of the orchestra is conductor Yasuo Shinozaki. |

However, the orchestra has long traditions because it mainly consists of musicians of the Kotka and Kouvola town orchestras which were joint together in 1998.
