GO Käyrälampi winter event

Join the most exciting winter event for the whole family at the stunning Käyrälampi scenery!

GO Käyrälampi invites you to enjoy a wintery atmosphere, diverse activities, and local delicacies on Saturday, February 15th, from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Event Highlights:

* Snow Sculpting Show: The award-winning Icemen Team (Finnish Championship level) will create an impressive snow sculpture and a slide for kids, which will remain in the area after the event. No sleds or sliders needed for the slide – snow pants will do!
* Cross-Country Skiing Techniques: Learn skiing techniques with top instructor Minna Nieminen. In a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll get tips on both classic and freestyle skiing. (Note: Subject to weather conditions and a temperature limit of -20°C.)
* Pop-Up Photography Booth
* Husky Rides: Experience the thrill of a sled ride with Team-Kielonkukka’s huskies. (Subject to weather conditions.)
* KooKoo Jäätaiturit: Enjoy performances in singles and synchronized skating.
* Children’s Ski Event: Kouvolan Latu ry organizes active winter sports for the youngest participants.
* DJ and Music: Enjoy a festive atmosphere with a DJ playing music throughout the event – get ready for some fun winter dancing!
* Local Delicacies: Savor local treats such as burgers, artisan pizzas, cheeses, mulled wine, and warm drinks. Participants include Rokkileipuri, Mustilan Viini, Paavolan Juustola, Eräkokki, and Myllykosken Koskikara Scouts.

Businesses located at Käyrälampi are closely involved in the event, and the program continues beyond the event hours:

* Tykkimäen Sauna:Tykkimäen Sauna will be on the event site, but you can also visit it via a scenic torch-lit path. If weather and ice conditions allow, a skating rink for couples’ skating will be prepared on Käyrälampi lake. If your skates aren’t sharp enough, you can rent skates from Tykkimäen Sauna. During the event day, warm drinks and sausages for grilling (available for purchase) will also be offered at the sauna. Ice swimming, skating (weather permitting), and a cozy atmosphere await!
* Tykkimäki Resort: Visit Tykkimäki Resort’s stand and try their signature product developed especially for the winter event. The stand will also host a raffle where visitors can win fantastic prizes! You can also grab brochures and discount coupons for Lammenranta – don’t miss them!
* Saimaan Palju Events: Rent sliding snowshoes or snowshoes for a test hike for €5/max 1 hour.
* Paaskosken Maja: Snowshoeing, checkpoints, and adventure services at great offers – and don’t forget the doughnuts!

Evening Program (4 PM–11 PM):

* Tykkimäen Sauna – After Sauna: The winter ambiance at Käyrälampi continues at Tykkimäen Sauna’s After Sauna evening from 4 PM to 11 PM. All sauna rooms will be open for you to enjoy a relaxing evening.
* Tykkimäki Resort – Mono Disco and DJ: The evening culminates with Mono Disco and a DJ from 7 PM to 10 PM. The après-ski dress code adds a nostalgic touch of the 90s to the atmosphere. Come dance and enjoy music under Käyrälampi’s evening lights!
