Guided walking tour – Stories from the Kouvola Home and Radio Museum on a Kaunisnurmi walk

The tour starts at the Home and Radio Museum.

We visit the museum to learn about the development of housing and technology in different decades. The rich collection of artifacts tells about the life of an ordinary person and leads to pleasant memories, because people lived and listened to the radio before that too. The museum has a Telefunken 8001WC tube radio, which Sibelius also listened to.

In the garden-like landscape of Kaunisnurmi, we follow the footsteps of the drivers to the present day. The stories of the houses and their residents tell of the change of centuries and the significance of the railway in the station village.

Price 10 e/person, under 15 years of age free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Payment in cash to the guide
