Hellun Hellalla is a show hilariously hosted by Helena Juntunen, which combines lieder, opera, musical theatre and a psychology lecture. The concert program includes songs and opera scenes depicting the feeling of happiness throughout music history, regardless of genre. The feeling will also be discussed in an academic spirit under the leadership of cognitive neuroscience professor Mikko Sams, who creates a comfortable homely atmosphere in his psychologist’s chair as he tells the audience about happiness as a feeling. As our audience already knows, Helena Juntunen is one of the most versatile talents among Finnish opera singers, not forgetting her good acting and comedic skills. The concert concludes Topi Lehtipuu’s season as the orchestra’s artistic partner.
