Jaala broadcast summer café

The summer café of the mission has a tradition of decades in Jaala. The pan is hot on summer Wednesdays from 12-15 in the parish hall of the beautiful wooden church during June and July. The volunteer hostesses conjure up wonderful delicacies for you to enjoy: herring and egg sandwiches are welcome and expected, but other savory and sweet treats are also available. Sometimes you can also get excited by buying raffle tickets, you might even win a pair of wool socks!

 The proceeds from the café and raffle go entirely to support the work of the Jaala Chapel Parish’s own titular mission, Sanna Suutari.
