The free rapids and flowing water of the Kymijoki River enable a wide range of activities to be carried out in Kymenlaakso. In the area stretching from Keskikyme down to the sea, there are several rapids areas where, for example, whitewater kayakers, canoeists and rafters can take their measure of nature. The Kymijoki River cuts through wilderness, flows through settlements, sometimes expands into large lake areas and finally flows into the sea in five different channels. The Kymijoki River has played a significant part in our history. It has formed the border between the people of Häme and Karelia, it has been the national border and currently forms the border with, for example, Kouvola and Kotka.
SeikkailuviiKari organizes events on the Kymijoki River, each more interesting than the other. Our products include rafting and canoeing trips. Most of our products include transportation from the meeting point to the river and back. The meeting place is a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy a welcome coffee and after the tour there is also the opportunity to have a meal.
