Nothing for Money is a talented Finnish band that performs the music of Dire Straits. For a few years now, the orchestra has been performing to satisfied audiences in different parts of Finland.
The 2026 Nothing Is What It Is tour will feature a wide range of Dire Straits tunes as well as songs from Mark Knopfler’s solo career.

Dire Straits was formed in London in the late 1970s, in the midst of the punk fever. In a few years, it grew from a pub band into a world-class stadium rock machine and one of the most popular bands of the 80s. Dire Straits had its own recognizable sound, not least thanks to its frontman Mark Knopfler, whose own band was ultimately at stake. The band ended in the mid-90s. Mark Knopfler, on the other hand, has continued his successful solo career to this day.
