AdventureRoga

Adventure rogaining combines the variety of adventure sports and the freedom of rogaining. The event involves orienteering using several different methods of progression. The map and checkpoints are designed so that using at least two disciplines is beneficial. Points are awarded for each checkpoint according to its level of difficulty, and the goal is to collect as many points as possible within the time limit. The event has 3h and 6h series, where the time indicates the target time for the course and if the team is late, a point penalty will be imposed. The team size can be 1-5 people. 

The adventure takes place in Valkeala, Kouvola, which has a large urban area, forest roads, a network of trails and a network of ski trails. The area therefore offers opportunities and challenges for competitors of all levels, as well as several discipline options. The extensive network also allows for several route choices and course options.
