Elimäki Local History Museum

The Elimäki Local History Museum offers an opportunity to learn about local history in an idyllic rural setting. The cosy museum area consists of several historical buildings, whose collections tell the story of life, housing, and work in the past. The museum’s most famous landmark is the windmill towering on top of the hill, welcoming visitors from afar.

Visitors can walk around the museum area at their leisure, explore the buildings and artifacts, and enjoy the peaceful courtyard. The area also houses a wood transformer station donated to the museum in 2017, which complements the presentation of the local construction and electrification history.
