Come and visit the atmospheric Kaunisnurmäe in Kouvola, the versatile Home and Radio Museum.

The Home Museum is a two-story wooden house, the ground floor of which has rooms decorated in different ways from different decades, starting from the 1920s and ending with the 1960s. Together with the interior, furniture and other furnishings, the rooms are decorated with radios, record players and other “technical gadgets”. What about a vacuum cleaner from the 1930s or a hairdryer from the 1950s?

The Military Radio Department, located in the new building of the Kouvola Home and Radio Museum, has many military radios from the Second World War onwards, both German, Finnish and Soviet. There is also, for example, a copy of the Finnish long-distance patrol radio receiver Töpö.

The Radio Museum has tube radios intended for civilian use from different decades. It is located in the museum’s new building, similar to the Military Radio Museum.
