Kettumäki Regional Home

The Kettumäki Regional Home is one of the most significant cultural and historical attractions in Kuusankoski. The log building designed by Lars Sonck was completed in 1897 as a school and was once known as the Norwegian School.

Today, the Regional Home houses a local history museum and a space for changing exhibitions. The building’s historic classroom, cultural and historical exhibitions, and beautiful location on the Kettumäki hill make it an interesting place to visit. The Kettumäki Folk Park and relocated workers’ houses are also located in the area.
