Nostalgia, new and old. It’s time for Encore!!

Emma-awarded Uniklubi secured their place in the Finnish rock scene with their platinum-selling breakthrough album Rakkautta ja piikkilankaa in spring 2004. Unlike many of their contemporaries, the band has also managed to cement their position among the perennially successful with their eight studio albums and hits released in no less than three different decades. Uniklubi’s latest full-length album Encore will be released in autumn 2026 (4.9.2026).

The band, which was founded in Hämeenkyrö and later moved to Tampere, draws influences from both pop and metal. Although the lineup has grown over the years from a young glam rock newcomer to more straightforward rock on bigger stages, Uniklubi’s charm is based precisely on their two sides. On the one hand, sensitive expression, on the other hand, guitar rock that sometimes even looks like punk.

Maybe that’s also the reason why new generations are discovering the band and stretching the age range of the audience ever wider, while old fans remain involved in the club at the same time.
