Halloween at Duck Park
The stage for Ankkapurha Halloween is set in Anjala Manor and the Granary Café built in an old granary. There is a lot to see and experience at the event in the spirit of a wild theme party, and there may be some scary surprises. Anjala Manor has been haunted for centuries…
The event will be held on Friday 30 October from 6-9pm and Saturday 31 October from 3-6pm. Saturday’s program is suitable for the whole family, we recommend Friday evening for those over 10 years old.
Admission ticket to the manor’s scary experiences is 10€/day. Family tickets are on sale for Saturdays: 1 adult and accompanying children under 10 years old 15€, 2 adults and children under 10 years old 20€. You can buy a ticket in advance in our online store at https://ankkapurha.johku.com/. During the event, tickets will be sold at Cafe Kummajäinen, also known as Makasiinikahvila.
The event at Anjala Manor offers spooky experiences, spooky encounters, and things to wonder and admire. Various theme rooms have been built in the rooms of the manor in the Halloween spirit. On Saturday’s family day, there will be a party at the Halloween disco and all those who have purchased a ticket will get their faces painted. A costume contest will be held on both days of the event for those dressed according to the theme.
The event will also include product sales: Pimeä puoli-Uniikkia keramiikkaa products at the manor, Inksa flower service products at the café, and on Friday, the Anjala Liitto first snow trail season pass will be sold at the café.
On the second floor of the café, Outoneliö’s Halloween pop-up theme photo shoot and themed crafts will be on sale. The sales points are also accessible without an entrance fee.
Cafe Kummajainen is open at Makasiinikahvila from 6-9 p.m. on Fridays and 3-6 p.m. on Saturdays. The café is open to everyone in the area and there is no entrance fee for eating or taking part in the pop-up photo shoot.
In planning and implementing this year’s Halloween mansion, the event magicians of the Ankkapurha Youth Centre and the Ankkapurha Cultural Foundation are assisted by the ESC team, which consists of young adults from all over Europe.
