
Guided cycling history on the Kymijoki outdoor trail
Departure at 5:00 PM from the west side of the railway station.
How is the acquisition of Finland’s first airplane connected to Kouvola? We cycle through Alakylä to Kymijoki. What was the significance of the railway bridge over the Kymijoki and the garrison in Koria? We continue along the riverbank to Ruotsula and the old Yline Viipurintie. We drive under the Kelti bridge. In Niskala we return to civilization. Through Koskenranta we arrive at the interesting area of Taideruukki. Kasarminmäki is our last stop before returning to the train station.
The journey is approximately 25 km. Duration approx. 3 hours. You must bring a helmet and your own bike.
