Guided walking tour – From Ankkapura to Alvar Aalto

The guided walk starts at the Inkeroinen Tehtaanmäki parking lot at Mäntyrinteen.

The tour will tell you about the birth and life of the over 150-year-old factory village. And why the world-famous architect Alvar Aalto has designed about twenty buildings for the area, from the paper mill’s production buildings to residential buildings and garages. If possible, we will visit the magnificent Chief Engineer’s House Mäntylä designed by Aalto, and the tour will end at the atmospheric church in Inkeroinen.
