Vilma Talvitie is a Helsinki-based ethnopop artist, singer-songwriter and world-touring one-woman band that creates bridges between pop, ethno and folk music with her music. The charismatic performer deals with the light and distortions of the human mind in her songs, grabs shame by the horns and digs out skeletons from closets. Vilma’s hypnotic and multi-sensory live concept, PianoBodyPercussion, combines singing, piano keys, lid and interior, body rhythms, percussion and dance-like movement.
