Tykkimäki Area
Tykkimäki Amusement Park is a fantastic summer destination for the whole family. In addition to the amusement park, Tykkimäki also offers fun at the Aquapark water park. Right around the corner, you will find all the other services in the Käyrälammi area, and Tykkimäki Actionpark delights all year round.
Repovesi and Verla Area
Repovesi National Park is an award-winning destination for the whole family. In Repovesi you can hike and trek through the park’s rugged landscapes, but don’t forget to try mountain biking or even canoeing.
Ankkapurha Area
In addition to the Ankkapurha Youth Center, you will find a wide range of activities in the Ankkapurha area. Located by the Kymi River, Ankkapurha also provides an interesting glimpse into the industrial heritage and history of the Kouvola region.
Mustila Area
Floral splendor and forest exoticism. The Mustila Arboretum is a significant tree species park by Nordic standards and a wonderful destination all year round. From the same area, you can also find local delicacies.
Käyrälampi
In the Käyrälampi area, nature and activities combine for perfect relaxation all year round. Enjoy the diverse opportunities waiting for you here. For example, enjoy the beautiful sandy beach and accessible pier, refresh yourself by the flowing water with canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards, and finally relax with delicious food and sauna experiences.
Kouvola City Center
In the Kouvola city center, you will find a rich selection of restaurants, cafes, and urban life. Right near the city center, you can discover not only treats but also museums, as well as various sights and experiences.
By the Kymi River
The Kymi River cuts through Kouvola, and around it, you can move in nature, try different activities, and enjoy beautiful landscapes.
Kimola Canal
The former timber floating canal was opened to boaters in 2020. The Kimola canal opened in 1966, and the last logs were floated through the canal in 2002. Now boaters can travel through the same tunnel that the logs used to go through. The canal opened a new boating route from Päijänne to Kouvola.
