Arboretum Mustila

Located just off the 6 road, and close to the church village of Elimäki, Arboretum Mustila is the oldest and largest arboretum in Finland.

Founded in 1902 by Governor A. F. Tigerstedt, the arboretum has been experimentally cultivating the sustainable origins of domestic and foreign tree species in extensive research forests and a unique forest garden. Mustila is particularly known for its exotic conifer forests and the hundreds of alpine roses and azaleas that bloom in June.

In addition to the idyllic forest trails, in Mustila you can enjoy a treat in the café and a stop at the Mustila Wine in the same courtyard.
