Vuohijärvi Nature and Culture House

Welcome to a cultural visit to Vuohijärvi, near the Repovesi National Park. Vuohijärvi House of Nature and Culture is an art destination and a place to relax, about a forty-kilometre drive from Art Center Salmela. In addition to a rotating art exhibition every year, we organise a variety of events. Visitors are also served by Café Kaakkuri, a boutique and a tourist information point.

The building, completed in 1966 and formerly a church, was designed by architect Väinö Vuorinen. You can read more about the history of the building here.

The premises of the House of Nature and Culture are available for rent, e.g. for parties and meetings outside the summer season, ask for more information!
