Welcome to the VisitKouvola afternoon event at the new Jaala Arena. In this event aimed at professionals in the tourism and events industry, we will get to know the new Arena and hear current presentations.

Transformative Tourism Training
Join the transformative tourism training and develop your services in the spirit of sustainable tourism!
First training: March 25. from 9:00 to 12:00 training on Teams
Benchmark visit on May 6. to Haltia Lake Lodge in Espoo
Come to be inspired and learn how the principles of transformative tourism can enrich your company’s service offerings and strengthen commitment to responsibility. The training provides concrete tools for productizing services and feedback from experts on development needs. Product ideas can be worked on even after the training day on the Howspace platform.
The remote training day will also feature a benchmarking example where a pioneering company in the field, Haltia Lake Lodge, shares its experiences in transformative tourism practices. On the benchmarking trip to Haltia Lake Lodge on May 6, you will deepen what you’ve learned and brainstorm new solutions with other tourism operators.
The trainer is tourism expert Jouni Kärkkäinen from FlowHouse. He has extensive experience in implementing transformative tourism and developing services for tourism companies.
The training is part of the Tourism Compass – Sustainable Growth for Kymenlaakso project.
