End of the summer season at the Cultural Park
THE FINAL WEEKEND OF THE SUMMER SEASON AT ANKKAPURHA CULTURAL PARK ON 28-30 AUGUST 2026 OFFERS A VARIETY OF THINGS TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE.
The weekend includes programs throughout the cultural park area in Anjala and Inkeroinen.
On Friday, the weekend’s programs begin with InkJazzin Etkoilla [https://www.ankkapurha.fi/aankohtaista/inkjazzin-etkot/] at Makasiinikahvila in Anjala, and the traditional InkJazz [https://www.kouvola.fi/vapaa-aika/kulttury/kultturytapahtumat/inkjazz/] will take over the Ankkapurha Industrial Museum.
On Saturday, the day begins with Kouvola Aalto Houses 2026 [https://aaltoinkeroinen.com/fi_FI] event at the Alvar Aalto sites of the cultural park in Inkeroinen. On Saturday evening, the Venetians of Anjala Manor will be celebrated. You can also stay overnight in your own tent or hammock in the Anjala Manor, as it is the Sleeping Night Outdoors weekend.
The Ankkapurha Industrial Museum is open on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 17:00.
The Restaurant at Ankkapurha [https://www.ankkapurha.fi/ravintola-ja-kahvila/ravintola-ankkapurha-2/] offers lunch open to everyone on Saturday from 10:30 to 13:00, and visitors don’t have to go without delicious coffee and pastries, because the unique Makasiinikahvila is open all weekend.
