Erja Lyytinen is a beloved guitarist and singer, but also the hostess of one of Finland’s most wonderful Christmas tours, where interesting artists are seen and heard as guests every year in a Christmassy atmosphere. On the 2026 tour, Lyytinen will be joined by guest stars Petra Gargano and Jussu Pöyhönen.
The program, which has already become a classic, includes familiar elements, such as guitar solos, Erja and friends’ favorite songs throughout history, but also new interpretations and rock arrangements of Christmas carols.
The two-hour concert includes songs performed by the artists together, accompanied by Erja Lyytinen’s band, as well as Erja and the guests’ own solo songs. Each guest brings their own contribution to the musical setting of the evenings, conjuring up a magical Christmas atmosphere for the listeners. You can experience the sparkling joy comparable to opening a gift when hearing the most beloved Christmas songs, but rock classics have also made it to the Christmas concert program this year!
Internationally awarded guitarist and singer Erja Lyytinen is known for her strong expression, combining blues, rock and progressive influences. A career of over 20 albums, extensive international gigs and numerous awards and recognitions make her one of Finland’s most respected guitarists. In 2026, her 50th anniversary year will culminate in this tour.
Petra Gargano is known for the band Tiktak and her successful solo career. Her strong interpretation and presence have made her a beloved performer. Christmas is a special time for Petra, her version of the song “Tulkoon joulu” has already received over 840,000 streams on Spotify, and she has previously performed on the Raskasta joulua tours, creating a Christmas atmosphere with her music in concert halls and homes.
Jussu Pöyhönen is known especially for his career as a singer and songwriter for Suurlähettiläiden, as well as for his radio and musical theater. His style is characterized by melody, strong groove and personal lyrics. Who would bring the Christmas atmosphere to our hearts better than an artist known and loved by the whole nation with his iconic voice and interpretations?
