Fire Department Celebration
Agapetus’ classic comedy delights Kouvola this summer!
The third collaboration between Kuusankoski Theatre and Mikä? Theatre is Agapetus’ excellent summer comedy Palokunna juhlat.
Well-known actor and keen fisherman Severi Urmasto arrives in a small town for a summer holiday. However, the pike-perch will have to wait when Urmasto is involved in preparing the programme for the fire brigade’s party coming up in late summer. There is a buzz among local theatre enthusiasts when a famous artist is brought in to help. All that’s left is to start rehearsals and head towards the party!
But what happens to the performing arts when a huge fire breaks out during rehearsals or you have to go and check out the clerk’s wife’s sandwich table? And does anyone remember their lines when they have to decide whether to drink coffee with or without pastries today? And that phone, the phone always rings!
Firefighter’s Celebration is a joyful description of our people’s most beloved hobby – theater.
