🎺 The Kymi Brass XXV festival weekend will feature a brass mass for the first time!

Kuusankoski Church will be filled with the impressive sound of brass on Sunday morning, when the music for the mass will be provided by the Lahti Conservatory trumpet ensemble Musta Hevonen (conductor Seppo Pohjoisaho) and the Lahti Brass Quintet.

The musical ensemble of the brass mass is built around a five-movement work by Texan composer Eddie Lewis. The mass will also feature the familiar and touching songs Amazing Grace and I Put My Life in Your Hands.

The sermon will be given by David Paski, the liturgy will be performed by Laura Blom, and the cantors Ville Perkkiö and Marianna Pellinen will participate.
