The retired

Eläkeläiset is a Finnish hump metal pioneer band that has been entertaining audiences around the world since the early 1990s. The band is known for their wild energy, relaxed humor, and original way of transforming well-known rock and pop classics into fast-paced hump versions.

At their gigs, Eläkeläiset offers a unique combination of a funky dance vibe and a rock’n’roll attitude – the audience, both on dance floors and at festivals, inevitably ends up joining in on the hump carnival.

The band has released several albums, toured extensively in Europe, and achieved a cult reputation both at home and abroad. Pensioners prove that humppa is alive and well – and above all, that it is suitable for everyone, regardless of age.
