TUURE KILPELÄINEN ON A CONCERT HALL TOUR IN THE AUTUMN!

Long-time singer-songwriter Tuure Kilpeläinen and his band will embark on an extensive concert hall tour around Finland in the autumn. The Suomalaisii unelmii tour, which will cover thirteen cities, will be a melodious ensemble that combines atmospheric acoustics and a more rhythmic beat. .

– My autumn tour is based on a clear and rich sound, where the band plays taking into account the acoustics of the halls so that the lyrics and vocal harmonies come through. There will be violin, acoustic guitars, mandolin, double bass, piano and beautiful vocals. There will also be raucous music, but in a more acoustic way that suits the style. The goal is to leave a rich and strong emotional imprint, says Tuure Kilpeläinen.

The name of Tuure Kilpeläinen’s Suomalaisii unelmii tour gives a preview of the new music to be released in the autumn, which will be heard in concert halls, without forgetting the most beloved hits.

According to the artist, the themes of the Suomalaisii unelmii concept deal with the Finnish mental landscape in 2026, when uncertainty and spiritual decline try to gain the upper hand.

An expanded six-piece band will take to the stage on the tour: Tuure Kilpeläinen (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Jussi Jaakonaho (guitar), Antti Kokkola (violin, mandolin, guitar), Julius Sihvonen (keyboards, vocals), Ansku Mellanen (bass, vocals) and Eliel Viitala (rhythms).

Known for his ongoing live performances, Tuure Kilpeläinen is has released 11 albums in his successful career, five of which are solo and six with the band Kaihon Karavaani. The artist’s latest album Odotin näpyä, tuli laaka was released in October 2025.

Kilpeläinen’s music is influenced by old soul, blues, rock ‘n’ roll, folk, iskelmä and country. Tuure Kilpeläinen, who has won several Emma awards, has also composed music for documentaries and films, such as the film Tie pohjoiseen. He has also been awarded the Kullervo Linna and Iskelmä Finlandia awards.
