Repovesi National Park

Thanks to its varied and rugged landscapes, Repovesi National Park is one of the most popular hiking destinations in the country. Hiking trails crisscross the fragmented nature of high cliffs, waterways, and moors and bogs, some of which have remained untouched.

Note: The Lapinsalmi Bridge in Repovesi National Park will be closed until further notice.

Metsähallitus will inform you about the opening of the Repovesi Bridge online and on its own social media channels. Hikers arriving in Repovesi by car should leave for the national park from the Tervajärvi and Saarijärvi parking areas, for example.

Location and connections

During the summer season, Repovesi can also be reached by public transport.

When traveling by car, you can head to Repovesi through three different entrances.
